Sweet and sour ribs的做法
Blanch ribs first, then add to instant pot for 20 mins with water
Marinate ribs with 1 tbsp shaoxing, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce, 2 tbsp vinegar for 20 mins
Pan fry ribs till crusty. Tips- could use high heat and low oil. Just turn ribs frequently. This step is done pretty fast.
Add half bowl of rib broth and 3 tbsp sugar. After it’s bubbling, add 1/2 tsp salt. Stay on low heat for 10 mins.
Turn on high heat to dry off the sauce. Add 1 tbsp vinegar during this process.
Add sesame (or minced scallion or accented salt) to your liking.
